我爱英语网 > 英语学林 > 英语论文 > 翻译理论研究 > 欲望号街车的中译与评析 欲望号街车的中译与评析 我爱英语网  http://www.52en.com 论文名称: 欲望号街车的中译与评析 [摘要] 本论文第一部分的第一章是翻译此剧的动机与目的；第二章是对于国内另外两部《欲望号街车》的译文所做的评论，第三章介绍作者田纳西威廉斯的生平，并分析《欲望号街车》的主题及意涵；第四章探讨戏剧的特点和翻译戏剧的困难，并提出笔者翻译此剧时所把握的原则及解决翻译难题的策略。戏剧语言的特点为：（一）口语化，（二）个性化，（三）听读效果。笔者翻译本剧的原则是：（一）以译入语为中心。原文译成中文后服务的对象是中文的读者，所以要多发挥中文的特点，让译文更加生动自然。（二）语汇现代化，使用贴近现代生活的语言，避免陈旧的用语。（三）强调角色个性。用生动的语言使剧中人物的个性、出生背景一目了然。（四）口语化。剧中人物的对白应当是我们日常生活中经常使用的语言，而不是只能从书本上看到的书面语言。（五）对白简洁，让演员容易演出，观众易于了解。最后一章是结语。第二部份则是笔者翻译欲望号街车的译文。 [摘要] The first part of this thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter states the motive behind this thesis and the aim of it. The second chapter offers some comments on the other two Chinese versions of A Streetcar Named Desire in Taiwan. The third chapter is an introduction of Tennessee Williams and his famous work: A Streetcar Named Desire. The fourth chapter focuses on the principles for translating this unique literary genre, drama, and discusses the difficulties in drama translation. The strategies used in translating A Streetcar Named Desire are also explicated in this chapter. The last chapter is an epilogue. The second part of this thesis is a translation of A Streetcar Named Desire by the author of this thesis.
